Ai Arthritis Ai Platform

Our Ai Platform is where Araiah lives. She is our Ai Companion. She is an AI, and she answers questions about living with autoimmune and autoinflammatory arthritis ( Ai Arthritis ) diseases.

Ai Arthritis is led by people living with Ai Arthritis diseases, and our work is peer-led, so what Araiah can answer is what patients have worked out and handed on.

Who is Araiah?

Araiah is the Ai Companion who lives on the Ai Arthritis Ai Platform. She is an AI, and she answers questions about living with Ai Arthritis diseases from what this community knows.

Key takeaways

  • The Ai Arthritis Ai Platform is where Araiah, our Ai Companion, answers questions about living with Ai Arthritis diseases.
  • Where Ai Arthritis has not published on something, Araiah says so and points to what we do have, rather than filling the gap.
  • Anyone can ask Araiah as a guest. Signing in lets you come back to a conversation, share an answer and delete what you asked.
  • Araiah is coming soon, and the wait list emails you on the day she opens.
  • People living with Ai Arthritis diseases can share their experience with Ai Arthritis privately, or go further and become one of Araiah's friends.

Araiah went looking for the answers nobody handed her, and she found them in the people who live with Ai Arthritis diseases: their conversations with each other, what they told us in surveys and calls, and the guidance we built with them.

If the wait list form does not load, open the wait list form on its own page.

Do you need to sign in to ask Araiah?

No. You can ask Araiah anything as a guest. Signing in is what makes a conversation with Araiah yours afterwards, so you can come back to it, share an answer and delete what you asked.

Come back to a conversation

What Araiah told you in March is still there in June, instead of being something you half remember at an appointment

Take it with you

Share buttons on each of Araiah's answers, so an answer can go to a partner, a new doctor, or anyone who needs to read it

Delete any of it

One conversation with Araiah, all of them, or your whole account. You can also email info@aiarthritis.org and we will do it for you

What can you ask Araiah?

You can ask Araiah the kinds of questions she is built for: getting a diagnosis, test results, appointments, work, and where to find Ai Arthritis resources.

  • “They told me it was stress”
  • “My bloodwork came back normal”
  • “I was diagnosed last week”
  • “Has anyone else had this?”
  • “What should I ask at my appointment?”
  • “Where do I find the juvenile arthritis aids?”
  • “Is there anything written for my employer?”

Araiah answers the questions Ai Arthritis resources cover. Where we have not published on something, she says so and points to what we do have, rather than filling the gap.

Whose experience does Araiah share?

Araiah shares the experiences of real people in this community, each one written with them, shared with their permission, and always named as theirs. One experience cannot stand in for everybody, which is why there is more than one, and why there is room for yours.

Start with your experience

Share your experience with us privately, in writing or as a recording. We use what we hear to find what is missing and bring patients in to build what closes it, so the next person who asks Araiah has more information to help make decisions about their care.

Or go further, and become one of Araiah's friends

Somebody will arrive at Araiah in the situation you were in. With your experience to draw on, they get your version instead of starting cold. You decide what goes into your profile, whether your name is on it, and you can take your profile back.

Room for yours

Whatever you have been through, somebody is going to arrive at Araiah having been through it too.

What do people ask about the Ai Arthritis Ai Platform?

Is Araiah a real person?

No. Araiah is an AI, and she says so in any wording you ask. What she shares comes from Ai Arthritis resources, built with patients, and every specific experience she shares belongs to a real person who agreed to it. She names whose experience it is every time, and she never speaks as that person.

Does Araiah give medical advice?

No. Araiah shares Ai Arthritis resources and what people in our community have found helpful. Decisions about your care belong to you and your healthcare team, and she can help you get ready for that conversation, such as working out what to ask at your next appointment and what to write down beforehand.

Where does what Araiah says come from?

From Ai Arthritis resources, which are built with patients. People living with Ai Arthritis diseases notice what is missing, patients help build what closes it, and what gets built goes back out to the next person. Araiah answers from that and nothing else, and where we have not published on something, she says so.

When does Araiah open?

Araiah is coming soon to the Ai Arthritis Ai Platform at aiarthritis.org/ai-platform. Join the Araiah wait list there and we will email you on the day she opens. The wait list asks for your name, email and country, and text messages from Ai Arthritis are a separate choice you can leave unticked.

What does being one of Araiah's friends involve?

Being one of Araiah's friends means sharing one part of your experience as a short profile. You choose what goes in and what name is on it, including no name at all, you agree to Araiah sharing it, and you can withdraw it whenever you want by emailing info@aiarthritis.org.

Do I have to sign in to ask Araiah?

No. You can ask Araiah anything as a guest. Signing in is what makes a conversation yours afterwards, so you can come back to it, share an answer, and delete it when you want to. Either way, Araiah answers the same questions from the same Ai Arthritis resources.

What happens to what I ask Araiah?

Conversations are kept so we can see where the Ai Arthritis Ai Platform is falling short and fix it. You can delete one conversation, all of them, or your whole account, and if that is easier, you can ask us by email at info@aiarthritis.org and we will do it for you.

How can you take part in the work?

You can take part through Ai Arthritis Voices. It is how patients take part in what gets built, from the surveys that find what is missing to the panels that shape what closes it. What you work on is what Araiah will be answering from.
