Co-Founders Introduce the AUTO Ball Online

Special AUTO Ball Series

AiArthritis Voices 360 Show Episode #28

AUTO Ball Special Series Episode #1

Air Date: May 24, 2020

Between May 16 - 20th, we took our AiArthritis Voices 360 Talk Show LIVE, to help teach more people who we are, what we do, and how we impact the lives of those affected by AiArthritis Diseases while honoring the 450 million people worldwide living with our diseases. It also served as the starting line for our 2020 fundraising efforts.

This inaugural gala, the AUTO Ball, was originally scheduled to take place in St. Louis, MO, our headquarters, at the National Museum of Transportation - Earl C. Lindberg Auto Museum. Due to COVID-19, the physical event was canceled. However, since this talk show was scheduled as part of the primary method to teach a larger community about our work, we hosted a series of 10 LIVE shows. This first episode re-introduces our organization to the world, from the perspectives of the co-founders, outlines the value we bring to the community and how YOU can get more involved.

Featuring AiArthritis CEO, Co-Founder, and Host of the AUTO Ball - Tiffany Westrich-Robertson - along with recurring AiArthritis Voices 360 Co-Host and Ai Arthritis Co-Founder - Kelly Conway - and

Co-Founder Tami Caskey Brown.

This episode was originally streamed LIVE on the AiArthritis Facebook page.

Show Co-Host: Tiffany Westrich-Robertson

Tiffany is the CEO at International Foundation for AiArthritis and uses her professional expertise in mind-mapping and problem solving to help others, like her, who live with AiArthritis diseases work in unison to identify and solve unresolved community issues. For the last several years, she has continued her education in research, including becoming a professional focus group moderator, and translated this experience at our organization to develop award-winning, innovative projects that are taking patient engagement to next levels.

Tiffany has served on several advisory boards, including those to advance patient voices in policy, clinical trials, and precision medicine. In addition to reviewing grants at PCORI and for the Department of Defense, she was the sole patient grant reviewer for the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin diseases from 2015-2018. She currently participates as a Patient Research Partner for OMERACT (Outcome Measures in Rheumatology), co-leads our organizations' international effort to advance patient voices in rheumatology research (the ACTion Council) and has dedicated her professional career to developing other patients to utilize their voices to impact the future of millions.

Show Co-Host: Kelly Conway
Kelly is a speech-language pathologist, author/blogger, and a patient advocate. She has been living with autoimmune arthritis since age 14 but wasn’t formally diagnosed until age 32. That diagnosis has changed more than 5 times over the past 18 years. She worked in the law enforcement and the legal profession and in the capacity of an executive assistant/administrator and paralegal for over 25 years prior to early retirement due to permanent disability from her illness. With those skills in hand, and a great passion to help spread awareness and help others suffering from these diseases, she helped co-found International Foundation for Autoimmune & Autoinflammatory Arthritis in 2011.

She has experience on various other patient-focused panels such as the NIAMS Coalition and National Coalition of Autoimmune Patient Groups (NCAPG) and the American College of Rheumatology's legislative advocacy on Capitol Hill. In addition, she was a patient reviewer, mentor, and ambassador for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).  Tami has retired, but is still our #1 fan!
